CCNW was asked by Encirc to provide a Landscape and Nature Management Plan for their glass container manufacturing, filling and distribution facility at Elton, Cheshire, said to be the largest in the northern hemisphere.
The Plan updated their first Landscape and Nature Management Plan, produced in 2010, and included updated biodiversity surveys covering European and UK Protected Species and UK Priority Habitats and Species: water vole, bats, amphibians, birds, badgers, invasive plants; and: broad habitat types.
The finished document prescribed a 5-year plan to maintain and enhance the already rich suite of wildlife found there.
