Background
The Intact Centre is committed to providing accessible and sustainable outdoor spaces for the local community. As part of this initiative, CCNW was commissioned to design and install a robust viewing platform and an adjoining ramp within Dobcroft Nature Reserve. This project aimed to enhance visitor experience by offering a safe, elevated vantage point while ensuring long-term durability through the use of high-quality, weather resistant materials.
Project Aim
The primary objective of the project was to construct a viewing platform and a ramp that would:
- Provide a secure and accessible observation point for visitors.
- Utilise sustainable and durable materials.
- Incorporate essential safety features, including anti-slip surfaces and protective barriers.
- Blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings while minimising environmental impact.
